Back in England

While we've been in England we have not run into any Travelling Gypsies... but we have been occupied visiting sights and meeting friends and family. Upon our arrival, we picked up the rental car (an Alfa Romeo) and drove to Bath. We made it to the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey. After spending just a short time in Bath, we drove down to London and saw some friends and family at the Prospect of Whitby pub near the Thames.  After some chatting and drinking, we made our way to Brick Lane -- an area that is becoming 'revitalized' or gentrified, however you see it... where we had a great Indian meal thanks to our sis-in-law.

Yesterday, we drove up to Sale, a small town near Manchester and had dinner with Big T's mom and step-dad.  J is still getting used to the time change and the midsummer effect -- which means that the sun is out for almost 20 hours a day!!!  Today we are heading into Manchester before we drive back to London and tomorrow we head to Venezia!!!
Ciao a domani!
